Aimed at young listeners age two to eight years old, this singalong set has familiar space-and-time (for that’s what these songs are really all about -- mobility and placement in the universe) folk ditties like “Itsy Bitsy Spider,” “The Old Gray Mare,” “Bear Went Over the Mountain,” and “Mulberry Bush” sung by a children’s chorus accompanied by a gently funky little rustic band, complete with spare touches of fiddle and slide guitar. There’s enough rhythm and energy going on to make this a palatable playlist for a long car drive with the little ones aboard.
