The second part of the Child Star single repeats the title track without change from the first part -- the remaining three songs provide the interest here. Taken from a British TV show Live From Abbey Road, it features Almond and a backing band with Neal X ripping through three other numbers from the then yet to be released Fantastic Star. "We Need Jealousy" actually gets a stronger run-through here than on the album, thanks to the brisk, up-front mixing instead of the slightly murky results in studio. Neal X himself does a fine job, while Almond offers up his anti-romantic romantic sentiments in good voice. "The Idol" in contrast is a bit off in comparison, not quite the mercilessly tight monster familiar from Fantastic Star and more a lighter version with prominent clavinet parts. "Out There" wraps up the disc, with Almond's vocal delivery eschewing semi-whispers for a more direct singing approach that suits the building stomp of the song quite well.
