AllMusic Review by

Organist Jack McDuff enjoyed some pop recognition in 1963, when his combo recorded at The Jazz Workshop featured a young, blazing guitarist influenced by Wes Montgomery. George Benson's torrid licks and blues fills make this among his hottest albums, along with McDuff's always-smoking, relentless organ accompaniment, transitional lines, and solos.
