AllMusic Review by

Harrison is a collectors' label that came out with about 25 LPs filled with rare early dance band and jazz performances. For this set, such obscure groups as Fred Hall's Jazz Band, the Ambassadors, Bert Stock, the Ipana Troubadors, Milt Shaw and Julie Wintz's Orchestra have some of their rare recordings reissued. Eddie Miller takes the clarinet solo on Wintz's "After You've Gone" and The Dorsey Brothers appear on the two Ipana Troubadours songs but otherwise the personnel is mostly comprised of long-forgotten names. No matter, collectors of 1920s music will find all of the Harrison releases of great interest.
