This is an updated version of the Whisky Priests' 1993 live album Bloody Well Live!. The original was a 17-track, single disc release, whereas its 2000 version contains 23 tracks on two CDs. It was culled from a performance for some of their most loyal and supportive fans in Hamburg, Germany on New Years Eve 1992. As always (particularly during their earlier years) the Whisky Priests' live shows contained plenty of sweat, energy, tempo changes and top-notch performances by their band. And with Gary Miller's growing set list of superb self-penned songs, their shows were never lacking. This recording also unveiled two tracks from their breakthrough 1994 album The Power and the Glory. This is an excellent introduction the band's more carefree and prolific period when punk, British folk, and rock & roll were, more often than not, a recipe for failure. The Miller brothers found a way to succeed and endure, thus paving the way for a multitude of folk-punk and folk rock bands to emerge in the years following.
