AllMusic Review by

THE BLAGOJEVICH BLUNDERS is one of a number of politically-oriented spoken word compilations brought to you by the Micro Werks label. These have included the strictly-for-laughs SAGA OF CARIBOU BARBIE, a collection of Sarah Palin sound bites from the 2008 campaign, and the seriously inspirational DAYS OF HOPE, drawn from the speeches of then candidate Barack Obama. BLUNDERS is most definitely in the laughs category and it could be argued that the scandal-prone former governor from Illinois at his most unbuttoned is far more entertainingly surreal than Sarah Palin at her most loopy. Included are Blago's musings on Kipling, Tennyson, and Oliver Wendell Holmes as well as other more prosaic (and profane) defenses and rationalizations of his political predicaments.
