This EP is one of the few ever released by this obscure Dutch duo. One of the most interesting facets of this record is how it exemplifies a phase in the dialogue between techno from Detroit with techno from various pockets in Europe. This record can undoubtedly be categorized as "post-Craig" with its stuttering rhythms, crystalline high-pitched tones, beautiful soaring melodies, and human touch of live keyboard playing. All four tracks are really wonderful and occupy the rare space of deep ambient techno that's held together by a strong rhythmic sensibility. Though it is one of Planet E's least dancefloor-focused releases, it is as musically rewarding as the best of them.
