In one of the more introspective scores for the series, Franke makes use of ambient electronics, dissonance, and even (for source music in a bar) a self-referential Tangerine Dream-styled piece. The story has much to with changes of status (life to death to resurrection, freedom to capture, free will to brainwashed puppet), and Franke's music provides just the right levels of contemplation and dramatic angst. As always, these CDs (presented without a booklet, but with individual designs on each disc) are more for the collector than the casual listener.
