This was Paquito Guzmán's final release for TH-Records, wherein the romantic salsa craze was at its zenith, but this production was underpromoted, almost signaling a decline of the famed label. The content of this production is serviceable, no match to Guzmán's earlier efforts with ample repertoire. Nevertheless, Guzmán continues to shine despite of the obvious indifference of this effort, seemingly out of steam. The title tune, "Desde Ayer," "Yo Perdí el Corazón," and "Que Tiene de Malo" are the better tunes. Produced by Julio César Delgado, with arrangements by the reliable Tommy Villariny, Máximo Torres, and Domingo García. A letdown as opposed to other Guzmán releases.
