There's nothing fancy about this video -- just a solid hour of the finest Texas blues you could see and hear in the '90s. This Dallas-based quintet sails through 11 tunes before a studio audience with workmanlike precision. Much of this professionally shot, edited and recorded concert video focuses on Funderburgh's mastery of his Fender Strat -- we are treated with abundant closeups of his fluid solos. Blues veteran Sam Myers handles the vocals with seasoned authority and blows a killer harp on several tracks, most notably, "I Done Quit Getting Sloppy Drunk." Other highlights include "Tell Me What Have I Done Wrong?," "Blue Shadow," "Trying to Make You Mine," and a feisty rendition of Earl King's "Come On."
