Alright With the Days almost sounds more like a split 7" rather than a two-song EP by the Cassettes. The title track is a nice, mid-tempo power pop ditty that contains the bouncy energy of keyboards and acoustical guitars. However, the B-side is a rougher, garage rock-sounding tune that's mostly forgettable. Nothing too astonishing, but they at least get a star for their clever band name.
