AllMusic Review by

Electronic and keyboard textures predominate on the Boston band Francine's third album, providing a multi-hued sonic surface for songwriter and vocalist Clayton Scoble to lay his subtly appealing pop songs on. Occasionally folk-tinged, as in the Simon & Garfunkel-like "Lakeshore Gold," the album hews close to a post-psychedelic approach, its low-key attitude reaping especially rich rewards on the gorgeous, string-accompanied "7 Gulls" and the hazy "Stood."
