The MTV Acústico series generally presents acoustic versions of the biggest hits or most famous songs of the artist in question. This is no exception. Practically a hit parade from start to finish, there is little room for surprise, but neither for disappointment. Actually the hit parade format suits Kid Abelha very well as the band always was all about catchy, well-crafted pop tunes, free from things like deep psychological reflections or political messages. Paula Toller's voice is as crisp and fresh as ever, and the band and the arrangements are spot on. It is easy to understand why Kid Abelha is one of the most popular, best-selling Brazilian pop/rock bands ever. In midst of so many hits, it is hard to point out specific highlights on the album. The sweet "Como Eu Quero" and "Lágrimas e Chuva" come off very well though within the acoustic setting. As does the reggae version of Hyldon's beautiful love ballad "Na Rua, Na Chuva, Na Fazenda."
