A Tribute to U2 features Irish Rock Association covering 13 of U2's best-known songs and doing so in a fairly competent manner. Many of the big hits are here: "Pride (In the Name of Love)," "Beautiful Day," "Desire," "Discotheque," "The Unforgettable Fire," and so on. Surprisingly there aren't any songs from The Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby. And other classic U2 songs like "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "New Years Day" are also unfortunately missing. These numerous exclusions are somewhat disappointing, particularly to anyone looking for a U2 best-of. Still, even if some of U2's best moments are missing, there's no shortage of hits here, and the Irish Rock Association doesn't try anything too daring, choosing instead to stick closely to the originals.
