Instruction Shuttle is a strange and mysterious project that is more sound art than music and more collage than cohesive composition, but these components make Instruction Shuttle's Few Songs a really wonderful listen. Instruction Shuttle's Few Songs craftily blends dense sonic tapestries with polyrhythmic rhythms and four/four dance pulses alike. While Instruction Shuttle's Few Songs defies genre specification, it always maintains an experimental dub aesthetic and comes off sounding like a lo-fi collage of rogue samples that have taken on a life of their own and misfit beats that prove to be more of a physical experience than an auditory one. Either way, Instruction Shuttle's Few Songs is a craftily blended recording that goes in 100 different directions, often at the same time, yet comes off sounding wholly like the work of Instruction Shuttle.
