AllMusic Review by Johnny Loftus

This is the debut release from Baltimore-based indie RPM USA. It makes a nice, if not particularly resonant impression, mixing power pop devotees with indie rock and pop niceties. Standouts include the fake British accent Jam redux of Swingset Police' "5 4 3 2 1!," the crunchy girl group indie pop of (the unfortunately named) Vinyl Devotion and "Something Bit Me," and the earnest My Bloody Valentine noise of the Bardots' "Gloriole." Best might be Kevin Bowie's "Just Good Friends," which finds the well-meaning but faltering Bowie straining to stay in key over a fuzzy trad rock riff straight out of the Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers how-to handbook.
