This budget collection commits a cardinal sin: It contains re-recordings without indicating on the cover that this is so. But of the 20 tracks included, 14 -- "Whispering Bells," "16 Candles," "Good Golly Miss Molly," "Little Darlin'," "Do You Wanna Dance," "Red River Rock," "Personality," "Willie and the Hand Jive," "Little Star," "Teen Angel," "My Heart Is an Open Book," "Party Doll," "Rebel Rouser," and "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine" -- are not the original hit recordings, and only six -- "Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On," "Tequila," "Venus," "Lonely Teardrops," "Hound Dog Man," and "Ooby Dooby" -- are. The re-recordings often sound nothing like the originals, even if the original artists (now much older) are performing. As such, this collection can't be recommended to anyone.
