This German compilation of Glenn Miller's Brunswick and Bluebird recordings does contain some hits, among them chart-toppers like "Moonlight Cocktail," "In the Mood," and "Chattanooga Choo Choo," but it also features tracks that were not hits at all, much less great ones. A larger problem, however, is that in order to get 20 tracks onto a single LP, the compilers have faded out many of the songs halfway through. Sometimes, just as the vocal chorus is coming in, the volume drops off suddenly and the track ends. Such a practice is slipshod and irresponsible, and this album should be bypassed by Miller fans.
