Sample-heavy to the point where the presence of original material becomes questionable, 1987 is a hilarious record filled with the KLF's comments on music terrorism and their own unique take on the Run-D.M.C. type of old-school rapping. Tracks like "Don't Take Five Take What You Want," "Hey Hey We Are Not the Monkees" and the rather more obviously criminal "All You Need Is Love" only confirms the eternal existence of this LP within bootleg collections (though several tracks did appear in different versions on The History of the JAMs a.k.a. The Timelords).
