AllMusic Review by

There are moments of great charm and sweetness on this album -- G.F. Handel's Little Fugue in G Major is performed with a lightness and ease that is captivating, while Mary Jo Disler's guitar arrangement of the "Choral Prelude" from Cantata 147 (better known to most as "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring") is performed with a tranquil gentleness that balances the somewhat unusual arrangement (which makes full use of counterpoint as well as harmony). This is an album of baroque guitar that is not to be ignored -- beautifully performed and carefully recorded, it's a pleasant surprise from a small label.
