AllMusic Review by

This Japanese noise electronica duo produced a number of albums under the name Tagomago, and as the Nerve Net Noise project they fit into both the IDM and noise scenes of the Tokyo underground. The duo created this heavy minimalist work with synthesizes of their own making, and 160/240 is a grueling clinical study of pure tone to challenge even the hardcore noise collectors among us. Setting two tones pulsing at differing ratios creates disorientating hypnotic effects, and the duo go a step further than Pan Sonic into minimal electronics, reducing the music to the noise of raw electricity.
