AllMusic Review by

This compilation mostly represents the other side of the Northwestern United States that wasn't eaten up by the hype machine of grunge and major-label buzz. Released by the goofballs who are behind Sicko, 13 Soda Punx mostly consists of drunken, carefree, happy-go-lucky pop-punk to which the aforementioned band was famous for. Very uplifting contributions from the legendary Fastbacks, the Mr. T Experience -- being one of three bands outside of the Seattle/Vancouver area -- and, of course, Sicko. And with other highlights including the garage-surf of Huevos Rancheros, the coarse power pop of the Young Fresh Fellows and the Cars covering Cub -- doing a lighthearted rendition of "Best Friends Girl" -- it's a shame that Top Drawer's bankruptcy will prevent this compilation from being heard by the few hundred people who bought this back when it came out in 1994.
