AllMusic Review by

Atmospheric, largely acoustic instrument-based progressive lo-fi, Home's 13: Netherregions is an excellent study in complex, slightly off-kilter arrangements. As always, Home delivers on more than a few pristine pop moments in the gorgeous "Industry 2000" and "A Christmas to the Easter." The dreamy psychedelic pop of "Rebel Base," the inventive use of percussion and brass instruments in "Work," and the explosive pounding drums and distorted blasts of snaky guitar in "Our Blue Navy" go a long way in holding the listener's attention through some of the more progressive passages. Many textures are visited, as the aural landscape is challenging and adventurous. All in all, few bands are as consistently focused in their ambitions.
