If you came of age in the '80s, a Sony Walkman cassette player was probably your preferred method for listening to music on the go. While cassettes have fallen out of vogue (more DIY endeavors like Burger Records notwithstanding), the Walkman marches on into the digital age. Engadget reported about the latest line of these Sony staples:
Headlining the new lineup are the ZX1 and F880 series, which boast 1GHz dual-core processors, 854 × 480 touchscreens, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, an "S-Master HX" digital amp and high-res audio playback (192kHz/24bit) in AIFF, ALAC, FLAC and WAV.

Look for the new Walkman products on the shelves of Japanese retailers later this year; no word yet on when they arrive stateside.
