This is different. The B-Sides (who are not to be confused with the other B-Sides, who released an album through Maximum Rock and Roll Records) come across as a straight-up power pop act with their use of multiple, overlaying vocals, simple guitar structures, and bouncy melodies. Occasional piano backings and a neurotic presence that sounds as if the B-Sides have heard Billy Joel's "Pressure" one too many times, Yes, Indeed is a nice homemade debut, even if the four-track sounding production could use some polishing.
