After working on personal projects as producers of new artists, Nacho Maño and Juan Luis Giménez team up once again with singer Soledad Giménez to make their eighth full-length record. Gente opens with its main title and first single hit, followed by the acoustic pop "La Mujer Que Mueve el Mundo." This well-crafted trio keeps its alternative pop/rock status with an orchestrated ballad called "Parte de Mi," the bossa nova-inflected "La Alegría," and the jazz-rock "Calor." Experimenting with new elements without losing their seductive and relaxed style, the artists have created a contemporary and interesting "rock en Español" album.
