Juke Joint Blues

Juke Joint Blues refers to the hard-driving variation of Southern R&B and electric blues where the rhythm is dominant. It's hard-rocking blues, intended for dancing, and it is usually frenzied uptempo blues or greasy slow blues. Generally, the term refers to R&B and blues singles made in the '50s and early '60s.
