My Town

Montgomery Gentry

Song Review by Rick Cohoon

Two small-town Kentucky boys named Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry may have hit the big time, but their roots are solidly planted in childhood soil. “My Town” does a commendable job painting in words and music both the pace of living in a small town as well as the pride and values of everyday people. Montgomery’s melodic story-telling matches superbly with Gentry’s delivery of a powerhouse chorus.
