Song Review by

Definitely an oddity for the Hollies, this song stretched the band's appeal from pop gloss to funky rock & roll/pop. Heavily influenced by Creedence Clearwater Revival, the song builds from a swampy electric guitar riff and builds from there. The band always really was a fine rock band and this allows them to flex their muscle. The lyrics are mini-crime drama, complete with characters and visual/mood insights. The Hollies never really did anything else like this again, and it's worth seeking out.
