Song Premiere: Sonny Rollins, "Way Out West" (Alternate Take)

​Tenor saxophone master Sonny Rollins shares the first take of the title track from his timeless album Way Out West. Also featuring bass icon Ray Brown and drumming great Shelly Manne, the cut is available as part of a deluxe 60th anniversary reissue of the landmark jazz recording, pressed on 180-gram vinyl, expanded with a second LP of previously unreleased alternate takes and new liner notes. It's due out February 16 on Craft Recordings.
