Song Premiere: DTCV, "Histoire Seule"

DTCV (Detective) is a duo featuring James Greer (ex-Guided By Voices) and French musician Lola G. "Histoire Seule" comes from their upcoming fourth album, Confusion Moderne, and features Lola's catchy vocals, performed in French, alongside a wall of guitars for a catchy, propulsive tune. Confusion Moderne is due out April 8 on Xemu and Lollipop Records.
"'Histoire Seule' was called 'the Sonic Youth song' before we had lyrics or a melody just based on the initial guitar riff," Lola G. wrote. "The title is an allusion to Godard’s Histoire(s) du Cinéma and the lyrics are about the historical treatment of women.”
DCTV is hitting the road on April 8 for a U.S. tour.
