Song Premiere: Defeat the Low - "Swordfish"

A Nervous Smile, the debut album from Portland band Defeat the Low, opens with "Swordfish," a hard-edged track featuring the melodic vocals of frontman Chris James. The band hits the road this week for a month-long trek with Dance Gavin Dance, Secrets and Alive Like Me, all members of the Rise Records roster. They'll be under the watchful eye of their boss, as Rise Records owner Craig Ericson handles guitar duties in Defeat the Low.
