Song Premiere: Brigitte, "Hier Encore (Black Joy Remix)"

Stylish French duo Brigitte offers a remix of a track from their latest record, A Bouche Que Veux-Tu. Featuring disco-leaning instrumentation and the impossible falsetto vocals of the pair, "Hier Encore" gets a dance-focused treatment that's simultaneously buoyant, energetic and delicate.
"'Hier Encore' is a song about joyful love," the pair wrote. "We wanted to write a song about the amazing strength that love can give when you just meet it. How strong it makes you feel, how much it feeds your soul, and how sexy it can be to be totally in love and to share it. Most of the French love songs are about sadness and we wanted the opposite. We wanted to write about happiness, proud, mischievous, and sexy emotion. With the remix, our aim was to give it an African 70's disco feel and dance on this happy love."
