Naturally we listened to a lot of holiday music this past month, and hope you enjoy some of the same recordings listed below that we did. Many of these and other recent releases were vocal or choral music. Among the notable non-holiday releases are a box set of Marian Anderson's RCA recordings; new Orthodox Christian music by American composer Benedict Sheehan, sung by the Saint Tikhon Choir (pictured above); and Baroque selections by countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli, and soprano Jeanine De Bique.
