Hot on the heels of our Beach Boys giveaway, we're back with the goods from
R.E.M.! Their classic record
Document, which Stephen Thomas Erlewine described as "not only a commercial breakthrough, but a creative breakthrough as well, offering evidence of R.E.M.'s growing depth and maturity", is getting remaster and reissue treatment. The
CD edition expands to a second disc, featuring a previously unreleased 1987 concert from the "Work" tour, and the whole shebang is packaged with new liner notes by journalist David Daley as well as four postcards (and record hounds, look for a 180-gram vinyl version).
To be entered to win one of three copies of the CD reissue, simply share
AllMusic's Facebook status or retweet
AllMusic's Twitter post. On Monday, October 15 we'll draw the winners at random from the folks who shared and retweeted.
