It's a week of returns, headlined by new releases from Garth Brooks, who's been killing time in Vegas and Oklahoma while waiting for his kids to grow up, and Pink Floyd, who compiled a group of demos from 20 years ago into the mostly instrumental album The Endless River. There's also the new album from the Foo Fighters, who have been promoting the hell out of Sonic Highways with an HBO series and concert events in multiple cities. The geographically diverse record features guest spots on every track, including hardcore icons Bad Brains, guitar wiz Gary Clark, Jr., Eagles and James Gang madman Joe Walsh, and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard.
Also out this week is the new album from rapper Big K.R.I.T., which our editors say may be his best to date, the final full-length LP from RÖyksopp as the group turns to smaller-scale releases, and the new album from former tween star Nick Jonas.
