New Releases Roundup: August 19

It feels like "We Dem Boyz" has already been around forever, but Wiz Khalifa's hit single finally has a home on an album this week with the release of Blacc Hollywood. Cameos aplenty abound, including the usual Taylor Gang suspects (Ty Dolla Sign, Juicy J, Project Pat, Chevy Woods) and superstars like Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj. Also releasing a new album this week is Kimbra, the genre-smashing singer from New Zealand, with The Golden Echo. It's her first solo release after her appearance on Gotye's global smash "Somebody That I Used to Know." And Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Smokey Robinson takes a lap through history with Smokey & Friends, which features collaborations on old tracks with the likes of Miguel, Elton John, Steven Tyler, Mary J. Blige and more.
