New Releases Roundup: August 12

After a pair of EPs, trip-hop/electronic pop artist FKA Twigs has graduated to the full-length world with the release of her first album, the thoughtfully-titled LP1, composed of all new material that broadens her emotional and musical palettes. Irish singer/songwriter Sinead O'Connor carries on with her recent upswing with her new album, I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss, featuring 12 vibrant and multifaceted songs that revisit her tumultuous career path. New Jersey punks the Gaslight Anthem also build on their recent triumphs with Get Hurt, expanding on their Springsteen-meets-Clash sound by adding elements of stoner rock and power pop alongside their established working class ethos.
