He's been popping up on tracks with Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Future, YG and the Game, but the typically prolific Lil Wayne hasn't made noise with a new record in a few years, and is currently caught up in a dispute about the release of his forthcoming Tha Carter V with his long time label, Cash Money Records. Two years between albums might not mean much to fans waiting over 15 years for Dr. Dre's next release, but for the man who has asserted more than once that he his not a human being, the gap between albums feels borderline terrestrial.
