Exclusive Performance: Modern Nashville Bluegrass from Judah & the Lion

Self-labeled "folk-hop" trio Judah & the Lion are gearing up to crisscross America alongside fellow Nashville musician Mat Kearney, with dates spanning from April to July. Judah Akers, Brian Macdonald and Nate Zuercher stopped by the AllMusic studios recently to show off their chops with a performance of "Our Love," a track from the band's 2013 Sweet Tennessee EP. The band also talked about their diverse sound, enthusiasm for exploring varied subject matter, and how they incorporated bluegrass elements into their music.
