Album Premiere: The Whigs, 'Live in Little Five'

With Live in Little Five, Georgia-based rock trio The Whigs delivers its first live album, which flashes back to their earlier records, especially 2008's Mission Control and also offers two new ones, "Soon Comes Fast" and "Cleaning Out the Cobwebs." A three-piece horn section joins the band for the lengthy, album-closing "Staying Alive," which ramps up to a thunderous, exuberant climax that sounds the way a good sweat feels. Live in Little Five is out November 11 on New West Records.
