Album Premiere: The Souljazz Orchestra, 'Resistance'

When Ottawa's Souljazz Orchestra released Inner Fire last year, editor Thom Jurek heaped praise on the release, awarding it four stars and hailed the group's gift for "melding the vast array of musical styles at their disposal." The group's blend of jazz, African and Caribbean rhythms, salsa, gospel, blues and much more carries on with Resistance, due out September 4 on Strut Records.
