The Blue Stones, a blues-rock duo from Ontario, kicks into overdrive on their latest album,
Black Holes. Anchored by the deep, fuzzy guitar tone that carries throughout the album, Tarek Jafar and Justin Tessier make a lot of tuneful noise across the 10 tracks, from the heavily-distorted groove of "The Drop" to more subdued "Midnight," which display the pair's ability to create a room-filling sound with plenty of momentum and melody.
Black Holes is due out April 15 and can be
preordered here.
