Album Premiere: Pianist Simone Dinnerstein Takes on Gershwin and Ravel With 'Broadway-Lafayette'

AllMusic's classical editors have given pianist Simone Dinnerstein many stellar reviews for her interpretations of works by Bach, Schubert and Beethoven. With her new album, Broadway-Lafayette, Dinnerstein sets her sights towards more recent works, celebrating French composer Maurice Ravel and American icon George Gershwin. Check out her take on Gershwin's unmistakable Rhapsody in Blue, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major, and a new piece from composer Philip Lasser, The Circle and the Child: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, written specifically for Dinnerstein.
