New Jersey trio Overlake delivers a set of sweeping, reverb-drenched dream-pop on its second album, Fall. While the usual shoegaze influences are clearly present, the band avoids languishing in 1991, delving into lengthier and more complex songwriting with the nearly eight-minute "Pines on a Beach," or simply rocking out for the sake of rocking out on "Can Never Tell."

Fall is due out May 12 can be ordered from Bar/None Records.
