Album Premiere: Monster Magnet, 'Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux)'

Last year when we journeyed through the Monster Magnet catalog with frontman Dave Wyndorf, he let slip that he was revisiting the band's 2010 album, Mastermind, stripping down its tracks to their psychedelic cores. Now that album, Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux) is on its way, and we've got the exclusive first listen before its North American release this Friday. In addition to reworkings of the album's tracks, there's also a cover of the Temptations' "Ball of Confusion" and an eerie mash-up of several of the band's songs constructed by mixer Joe Barresi.
