Beyond her high-profile gigs playing bass with Eagles of Death Metal and Courtney Love, musician Jennie Vee has been recording her own songs, which led to her debut LP, 2015's Spying. Now she's back with six more songs and a new EP, Suffer, showcasing her energetic dream-pop sound and gift for layering melodies. She also takes the opportunity to show off her range, delivering a sweeping, cinematic track like "The Last Time," and placing it alongside the propulsive rock song "Angel," one of the EP's standout tunes.

Suffer is out September 22 on WaxRomantix Records.
