Album Premiere: Husbandry, 'Fera'

Featuring jagged guitars, spiraling riffs and the powerful, adventurous vocals of Carina Zachary, the debut album from Brooklyn's Husbandry brings to mind the jazzy, mathy chaos of the Dillinger Escape Plan or Botch with extra post-hardcore flourishes, highlighted by plenty of time changes, sudden stops and sprints, and no shortage of melody. The band can blast full speed ahead on "Nature Vs. Nurture" while slowly building tension on the massive "Hymn to Tourach." Fera is due out August 26.
