52 Songs for 2010

From the disco-ELO sparkle of the Apples in Stereo's "Dance Floor" to the ramshackle doo wop of Hunx and His Punx' "Dream On (Little Dreamer)", the stadium R&B of Usher's stupid/genius "OMG" to Surfer Blood's uplifting indie rock anthem "Floating Vibes", 2010 was a year of amazing pop, noise and fun. It was hard work narrowing a list of favorites down to 52 (one for each week) and a lot of worthy tunes were left off, but those that made the cut are going to be in rotation for a long time. And in case you were wondering which track came out on top, it was "Beachy Head" by Veronica Falls by a tiny bit over Bieber's "Baby". Yeah, I know...nothing you can say in the comments can make me feel lamer than I do already.
