Serving the studded belt and skateboard set since 1995, Warped Tour combines energized music with extreme sports in a traveling festival that reaches over half a million fans every summer. With punk-pop and ska-punk roots, Warped Tour helped bring artists like Blink 182 and No Doubt to the masses, but has broadened its horizons in more recent years. This time around, catch the Wonder Years carrying the punk-pop torch alongside heavier rockers like the Black Dahlia Murder, plus electronic sounds from Big Chocolate and off-kilter hip-hop from MC Lars, to name just a few of the dozens of bands playing the fest's several stages. Want a break from the pit? No problem -- you can get some air on the half pipe, or buy some swag (and maybe meet the band) from the market-like merch tents. Warped Tour travels the US until early August, then takes a break before a November jaunt across Europe, only its third time overseas since 1998.
